About WiseEveryday

WiseEveryday is an independent editorial publication focused on home, decor, kitchen and cookware.

We publish explanatory guides: what a material actually does, why a pan behaves the way it does, and what the words on a box mean once the marketing is stripped away. The aim is that you finish an article able to judge a product for yourself, rather than having been told which one to buy.

What we publish

Materials and specification guides, care and maintenance articles, and plain-language explanations of the terms manufacturers use. Every article exists to answer a question a reader actually has.

What we do not publish

  • Ranked "best" lists and product reviews. We do not test products, so we do not rank them.
  • Paid conclusions. No brand can buy coverage, a recommendation, or a favorable verdict.
  • Experience we do not have. We do not describe testing we have not done, or claim credentials, quotes or first-hand use that are not real.

How we work

Our editorial standards set out how subjects are chosen, how claims are sourced, and how we stay independent of the brands we write about. When we get something wrong, our corrections policy says how it is fixed. Where an article carries a commercial link, our affiliate disclosure explains what that means for you. Those pages are being prepared and will be published here before this site opens to readers.

Use of AI

Writing and research. Our articles are researched and written using AI language models, working to a brief and a set of editorial rules set by a person. Nothing is published without a person reading it and deciding to publish it. Subjects, arguments, what gets cut and what gets said plainly are editorial decisions, and they are made by a person.

The byline. Articles are credited to the Editorial Team. That is a house byline, not a person. We use it because no individual wrote these pieces, and inventing a writer would be worse than saying so.

Sources. Every article ends with the sources it was built from, linked wherever the source is publicly reachable. Each link was checked against the document it points to, and independently verified by a person, before publication. Where a claim could not be tied to a source we could verify, the article either says the evidence is thin or does not make the claim.

Photography. The illustrative photography on this site is generated with AI image tools. It is there to set a scene, not to document one. It does not show a real product, a real test, or an event that took place, and we never use an image to stand in for evidence a piece has not earned in words.

Diagrams. Diagrams are drawn from the sources each article cites. Where one is not to scale, its caption says so.

What we do not do. We do not test products, so we do not rank or review them. We do not describe experience we have not had, and we do not publish a claim because a model produced it fluently.
